Minutes from LSA meeting held at
The Harrows, North Hykeham, Lincoln
on 8th May 2011

Apologies: Red and Angus

Future of the LSA Lincolnshire Scooter Alliance will continue to run without a co-ordinator. It will run by committee including Daz, Nige, Stuart, Mau, Red and Dave Walker, with meetings as and when required.

If we are to put an event on then a committee will be drawn up to organise the event.

If any Lincolnshire club comes to us with an event that they would like support with we will continue to consider these requests.

Lincoln Scoot to the Waterfront Daz proposed that LSA will pay for the door staff for the LSA/Lincoln event evening at Sobraoan Barracks. LSA have agreed to pay for two door staff for the event.

There are only 150 tickets to sell for the evening event. It has mainly been advertised in Scooter places, not advertised in local press. There must be contact details for everyone before they can have a ticket, i.e. you cannot just provide one person with 6 tickets, it is a condition of the venue that we need a contact for every ticket sold.

Mau has some raffle prizes for the event. Raffle tickets will be sold through the merchandise stall on the day.

Mau will put advert on website and Red/Sonia to put advert on Facebook site

Scooter dos for next year Mau proposed that we look towards doing 3 small evening events (north, central and south Lincolnshire) rather than one big do with camping.

Stuart and Nige suggested keeping events away from prominent club events e.g. Scunthorpe Silhouettes Humber Bridge do or to put any LSA event on at the other end of the county around that time.

Nige will look into putting on an event in Scunthorpe at the end of the year depending on what local clubs are doing.

Daz can book the Barracks for a central do.

We will look at doing more with Scoot to the Waterfront next year.

Next meeting will be Saturday 2nd July at 2pm

Venue: TBA in Cleethorpes (National Rally Weekend)

To sort out final details of Scoot to the Waterfront – volunteers required!

Meeting finished at 3pm
